Dreaming of Furever Animal Rescue rescues cats and dogs from South Texas and transports them to northern states for adoption.

The adoption process consists of an application, reference checks, phone interview, and video chat with the pet and foster parent!

The adoption fee for cats includes spay/neuter, vaccines (rabies, HCP and FeLV with boosters), microchip with free lifetime registration, deworming, transport, combo test, and flea prevention!

The adoption fee for dogs includes spay/neuter, vaccines (rabies, DHPP and booster, and Bordatella), microchip with free lifetime registration, deworming, transport, heartworm test, heartworm and flea prevention during the pet’s time in our program as well as 2 free months of heartworm and flea prevention to be sent in their adoption packet!

We are volunteers with a passion to reduce the stray population and unnecessary euthanasia in South Texas. According to Shelter Animals Count, an almost 100,000 cats and dogs were euthanized in Texas shelters. By transporting our adoptable pets to areas with fewer unwanted pets, they have a better chance of quickly finding loving homes, while also freeing up space in Texas shelters and giving more local animals a chance at life.
